Verna J. Gould, 58, new Windsor, died Thursday (August 6,
1987) at Lutheran
Hospital, Moline.
Services are 2:30 p.m. Monday at Kirk Huggins & Esterdahl
Funeral Home, Orion. Burial is in Western Township
Cemetery, Orion.
Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Memorial may be made
to the New Windsor Presbyterian Church, of which she was a member.
Verna Denhardt was born Aug 3, 1929, in East Moline.
She married Richard Gould April 17, 1948, in Orion.
Mrs. Gould was a receptionist for the Quad City Airport
Authority, where she had been employed for seven years.
She was a member of the church circle; and The 47 Club, East
Moline.
Survivors include the widower; sons, Dennis, Clarksville,
Tenn., and Neal, Naperville, Ill.; five grandchildren; and sisters, Twila
Searle, Port Byron, and Marian Thompson, East Moline.
